I recently had the pleasure of going on a tour of Whitman College, the new complex at Princeton University designed by Demetri Porphyrios. Whitman is part of the college system that Princeton is switching to, and part of the "Gothic zone" that's come in response to to Princeton's surveys of their freshman, asking where they would like to live.
Overwhelmingly, the students wanted to live in the old buildings, not the Modernist ones Princeton has built for 50 years. So Princeton now has a policy of new Gothic colleges in the center of the campus, and a "free-style" zone around that: a Frank Gehry building is under construction there.
A map shows the orientation of the first and last photos.
