19 Games With The Sox This Year

The first game of a four-game series in Fenway is tonight. Vasquez goes against Wakefield. Wakefield isn't great, but the knuckleballer baffled the Yanks for most of the ALCS. Let's hope his knuckleball doesn't give the hitters bad habits at the start of the weekend. Note: Vasquez has been very good, and Boonie hit his ALCS-winning home run against Wakefield, the final pitch of the Red Sox 2003 season.

The Post is getting more embarrassing than fun. They've long had a kitschy yellow journalism that was part of their charm, but their increased pandering to the LCD and a particularly rabid brand of know-nothing conservativism is wearing thin.
