It only gets worse: Future BMWs
From Vanity Fair. I really would like to know who thinks these look good. And what other things they find good looking.

disregarding its functions, it is beautifully designed :) i'd love to have it in the future in my garage...

The card that avant garde design has up its sleeve is that the eye is automatically drawn to something unprecedented, regardless of whether or not it is really beautifully or elegantly designed. This strength is also their greatest aesthetic weakness, because once their product has been around for a while, the eye looses interest (unless, of course, the product is incredibly rare and exclusive).
